Snowfall convinces her to come with them by saying that her and the other queens will pass an edict forbidding dragons from hunting and eating humans in exchange for her help, with Wren adding that keeping humans as pets should be forbidden as well. Wren initially refuses, saying that Sky is not much of a fighter and expresses concern that he'll be taken over by the breath of evil. After Snowfall tells the others about the abyss, Qibli suggests bringing Wren and Sky with them to communicate with the humans in Pantala. While she is a little irritated with the amount of dragons present, she nevertheless tells every other dragon present that she can speak Dragon, surprising them. The group returns to the enclosure where the other dragons are waiting. After Snowfall mentions that she wants to show the humans to the others, Wren declines, thinking that the dragons would just eat them, and says that she just wants to be left alone, but she is eventually persuaded to follow the queen back. When Snowfall asks if Daffodil can speak their language too, Wren says that she would if she paid attention and studied more, sounding annoyed by it.Īfter Snowfall faints, having another vision, Wren brags that the dragon is terrified of her and is confused when Snowfall understands her for a moment. When searching for Sky she obtains a sword which she carries strapped to her back. When she arrives in the Indestructible City, she is seen wearing dark green pants, a moss green tunic, fawn brown boots, and a soft wool cloak dyed the grey of a stormy sky.
